Gershon and BGIB1MZX (see Tfv4#19) ask for the proof that there will be 3
extra refuge cities in the days of the Mesiah.

See Rambam, Laws of Murder, Chapter 8. The proof is rather simple

* We are told (Matoth Masay: Nu 33-34) to make SIX cities * But in Dt we
are spoken about >  >  If you enlarge your boundaries..add 3 more<  <

The only way to resolve this is to assume that the 2nd verse is speaking
about the expansion of the messianic era.

* Perhaps (not explicitly cited) Gen  (Lech Lechah--Convenant of the
cuttings) should be added to the list of sources..since it mentions not the
usual 7 nations which we conquered and made into Israel but instead 10
nations..again the contrast of 7 vs 10 necessitates an assumption that this
will be filled in the times of the messiah.
