a sentence part is MISSING. There are 4 methods of >MISSING
SENTENCE PARTS<. We have so far dealt with 2.




TODAYS POSTING
==============
Today we deal with 2 verses/Rashis where Rashi adds a WORD
in translating the verse. This added word
---does not CHANGE meaning
---does not MAKE the meaning
But rather the added WORD
---makes the translation SMOOTHER

Gn39-04a says

The actual verse is missing the capped word >THAT<. That is
the actual verse reads
        >everything he had he placed under him<
By adding the word >THAT< we dont add or change meaning but rather
make the sentence read >SMOOTHER<
        >everything THAT he had he placed under him<






EXAMPLE 13: Nu33-54a

Nu33-54a says

        --------------------------------------------------------
        Divide the land by lot; THE PLACE,to where the lot falls,
        will belong to that person
