The OutLine
===========
Today we present the outline
of the entire book of Job. We
will see that the book of Job
consists of 24 distinct units.

================ ROUND 1 ==================

The Book of Job discusses and solves
the problem of evil.

In this initial posting we present
an OUTLINE of the book of Job.

This posting presents ROUND 1 of
the Dialogues

Each ROUND consists of 3 DIALOGS

Each DIALOG represents one attempt to
solve the problem of evil. However as Job
points out each attempted solution is
partial and does not apply to him.

In the end there are 6 additional
dialogs which give the complete solution
to evil befalling good people

Thus there are a total of 24 units in Job
For example the first unit is Jobs complaint
in chapter 3 that he is a victim of evil

The 2nd unit, as seen in the table below,
is the attempt by Eliphaz to answer
Job. As seen in the table below this
occurs in Chapters 4 and 5.

The 3rd unit is Jobs rebuttal of Eliphazs
attempted solution--this occurs in chapters
6 and 7.

-------------------------------------------
To UNDERSTAND the book of Job means
to be able to succinctly summarize each
of these 24 units in a brief sentence,
resulting in a 24 sentence summary of
solutions to evil.
-------------------------------------------

We will begin tomorrow with the first
unit. At one unit per day the whole
book will take us 25 postings.

Here is the outline of the whole book
of Job in 24 units. We begin with an
outline of ROUND 1 of the dialogues.
