AGAM/ACHU/SOOF means POND/MARSH

OVERVIEW
--------
The following list presents 4 Hebrew words that mean either
POND or MARSH. The etymology focuses on the fact that these
are bodies of water where thickets of reeds grow. Hence the
etymologies for these words come from words meaning reeds.

THE LIST
--------
The LIST presents the 4 words, their etymologies and the verses
they occur in. The footnotes indicate further colorful material
VERSE HEBREW ENGLISH ETYMOLOGY
Ex07-19c AGaM*2 Pond*1 Place where REEDS Grow(Reeds Suck water)
Ex02-03d SooF*3 Pond*1 Place where REEDS Grow(Reeds Suck water
Gn41-02b AChu*4 Pond*1 Place where REEDS Grow(reed Thicket(ACH))
Ex13-18b Soof Pond*1 Place where REEDS Grow(Reeds Suck water)
COMMENTS
*1 Rashi translates all 4 verses the same. He explains that
   --------------------------------------------------------
A pond is a still body of water WHERE REEDS GROW(Ex13-18b)
   --------------------------------------------------------
This Rashi explicitly connects POND with REED-GROWTH

*2 Rashi and Rav Hirsch explained that an Aleph in a root means
THING, PLANT, ANIMAL, PERSON or else refers to the abstract
concept of INDIVIDUALITY. For example A-GL means DROPLET
which Rashi explains as a THING (ALEPH) that is ROUND(GLGL)
Rashi presented this theory on Job38-28. Rav Hirsch
   presented this theory on Dt06-04:05

We present a few examples here where ALEPH means THING It
follows that A-GaM is a THING(ALEPH) where REED (GaMa)
   grow
   ----------------------------------------------------------
   WORD MEANS ALEPH THAT
   -------- ----------- ------------- --------------------
   E-V-N STONE A thing you BUILD(BN)with
   E-G-L Droplet A thing that is ROUND(GL)
   O-P-N Wheel A thing that TURNS(PN)
   A-F-R Dust A thing that is CRUSHED(PR)
   A-Chu Marsh/Pond Plants(Reeds) bound together(CHAC)
   A-G-M Marsh/Pond A thing where REEDS(gm)Grow
   ----------------------------------------------------------

*3 This can be explained in 3 stages
-- Both Soof and GooMah mean TO ADD(SOF)/ALSO(GAM)
-- Both Soof and GooMaH mens REEDS(Plant shoots ADDING water)
-- Hence both SooF and GooMaH mean POND/MARSH

*4 The charming etymology of A-CHu as a Marsh where REEDS
exist in BROTHERHOOD is presented by Rav Hirsch on Gn41-02
